Quick N Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe





Ingredients:

1 stick of butter/margarine
4 reg size cans of sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1 c of flour
1 c of sugar
1 c of milk
cinnamon to taste

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

Place stick of butter in deep rectangular baking dish.  Place dish in oven until butter is melted. Remove from oven.

In a large mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of self rising flour, then 1 cup of sugar, add cinnamon, mix with a fork until combined.  Add 1 cup of milk and stir well until you have a batter that will pour easily.

In the baking dish with the melted butter, dump all four cans of peaches with the syrup.  Then pour the batter over the top of them.  It is fine if it sinks to the bottom, it is fine if it doesn't cover the whole dish of peaches, but try to pour it as evenly as possible.  Bake for 45 minutes or until crust rises to the top and is golden brown and peaches are bubbling.

Serve warm by itself, or top with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
